Abstract
In modern economies, the financial sector forms the framework of the economic development process. The core of financial sector represents three key components: banks, insurance companies and the capital market. Although their functions often operate separately, the greatest contribution to economic growth is achieved through their mutual connection and complementarity. This work analyzes the synergistic mechanisms between the mentioned segments of the financial system, focusing especially on their contribution to economic prosperity, stability and resilience. In addition to theoretical analysis, the work includes tabular representations of institutional connections, comparative analyzes of developed and emerging economies, and identifies key challenges and perspectives for further development. Special attention is paid to the investment role of banks and insurance companies, the regulatory framework, as well as current trends such as digitization, ESG investment growth and the global integration of the capital market. The aim of the work is to offer a comprehensive overview and contribute to a better understanding of the role of institutional investors and the capital market in the development of the national economy.
